MetCom to Hold Meeting on Water Meter Project

The St. Mary’s County Metropolitan Commission will hold an informational meeting regarding the ongoing automated water meter reading installations on Tuesday, August 13, 2013, at 7 p.m. The meeting will take place at the Bay District Volunteer Fire Department, 46900 Shangri La Drive, Lexington Park, Maryland.

Customers who attend the meeting can review the nature of the work in, on and around their property. Some installations will require excavation and an easement will be required. Easements must be signed by all property owners in the presence of a notary public. Notaries will also be in attendance for this purpose.
