Well, it rained cats and dogs for the 2013 Jack Gelrud Memorial Golf Tournament to benefit Three Oaks Center held this month at Breton Bay Golf and Country Club, but that didn’t stop the tournament from happening.

Despite the weather, Breton Bay allowed the tournament to go on and the die-hard golfers played through the rain.  After about a 45-minute start delay, the tournament was underway.  It poured for the first two hours, and then the sun came out, so the players came back somewhat drier than when they left.

Congratulations to the tournament’s 1st place team:  Steve Caldwell, Bruce Nichols, Ryan Nichols, and Dan Norris sponsored by ServPro.

Women’s Longest Drive:  Dee Guy

Men’s Longest Drive:  James Andreacci

Men’s Closest to Pin:  James Andreacci
