Idea Days May Follow April 16 Industry Day

The Program Executive Office for Unmanned Aviation and Weapons, PEO(U&W) plans  an Industry Day and follow-on Idea Days for  industry to learn about current technology needs and also the potential for follow-on briefings.

Industry Day is open to all companies that have new and innovative ideas to support the future of Naval Aviation Unmanned Air System (UAS) and Weapon programs and is scheduled for April 16, 2015, 8 am to 4 pm at the Bay District Volunteer Fire Department Social Hall at 46900 South Shangri-La Drive, Lexington Park, MD 20653. This is near Gate 2 of the Patuxent River Naval Air Station.

To participate in Industry Day, please register on the Constant Contact website for the 2015 PEO(U&W) Industry Day by April 9, 2015.

Idea Days will be a possible opportunity for industry to brief the Navy on industry developed technologies that may benefit PEO(U&W) UAS and/or Weapon programs.

Idea Days will be held at the Government’s discretion based on its assessment of industry responses to the RFI. After reviewing industry submissions, the Government will contact those companies that it determines further discussion with and/or additional information from will be beneficial to PEO(U&W) UAS and Weapon programs. Meetings for the briefings will be scheduled depending on the availability of industry and Government parties.
