Fitting the Maryland Health Exchange to All Business Sizes
Using a model incorporating existing insurers, Maryland anticipates launching a year from now one of the first Health Exchanges charged with delivering affordable healthcare to everyone.
A premier program, the vision spearheaded by Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown seeks to include insurance providers with health advisers and health providers in the exchange.
Two Southern Maryland insurance agents have participated in the committees creating this premier program, Jon S. Frank of the Jon Frank & Associates in Prince Frederick, Md. and me, Jay Duke of Waring-Ahearn in Leonardtown, Maryland.
We appeared recently on “The Pulse,” hosted by Dr. Bob Shaller on MetroCast Channel 10 and described some of the elements of the plans.
