Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) vowed Sunday to try to block the Senate from considering a bill to fund federal agencies in the new fiscal year if Democrats include money for the president’s health-care overhaul, the Wall Street Journal reports. Federal agencies will have to suspend much of their work and many federal services on Oct. 1, the start of the new fiscal year, unless Congress authorizes funding.
