Great Mills Pool Now Open

The Great Mills pool will re-open as an outdoor pool on Saturday, May 24, 2025.

To celebrate the start of outdoor pool season, St. Mary’s County Department of Recreation & Parks invites the community to join them at the pool for the Splash Bash Pool Party from 1 to 4pm Sunday, May 25. There will be music and games during the open swim to celebrate summer.

Advanced registration is not required to attend the event; however, normal admission fees (or use of a pool pass) apply.

Regular daily admission is $8 for adult county residents and $6 for both senior county residents and youth county residents (17 and younger). Admission and membership pass information can be found online here.

Beginning on Monday, June 16, the pool will switch to summer operating hours, Monday through Saturday 6:30am to 8pm and Sunday noon to 6pm.

The pool is at 21100 Great Mills Road in Great Mills.
