Need for Walden Still Unchanged
Walden is the area’s leading Behavioral Health care provider and has been for the past 40 years. When there was nowhere for those needing help to turn, Walden worked hard to gain permission to provide a service that, unfortunately, is as necessary now as it was 40 years ago.
With help from multiple county commissioners, community members and leaders, Walden was able to flourish into the broad-reaching entity it is now. Whether helping youth through The Cove, reaching out to the community during their Community Block Party or fundraising with fun events like its Navigating the Waves of Change evening, staff and board members at Walden are constantly working to ensure that those who seek help can find it.
