On Saturday December 1st,  Beacon of Hope Recovery Community Center will host its first-ever Piggy Bank Yard Sale.  Every item will be on sale for just a penny from 12-7 p.m. at this one day only event.  The Piggy Bank Yard Sale is open to the public.

“We hope this will help some individuals and families who are struggling be able to acquire some needed winter clothes, household items, appliances, and other yard sale treasures,” explains Laura Webb, Resource Engagement Coordinator.  “We invite anyone looking for a great bargain in a wonderful environment to stop by! “

Walden is accepting tax-deductible donations of items in good/excellent condition for the Piggy Bank Yard Sale.  All donations should be arranged by contacting Walden at 301-997-1300 x 804.

Beacon of Hope is located in Millison Plaza, two doors down from the Well Pet Clinic and beside Underground Tattoo, behind Family Dollar.  Look for the lighthouse beacon logo in our window!
