Volunteers Needed to Staff Garden in Lights
The Garden in Lights at Annmarie Sculpture Garden and Art Center has become incredibly popular for visitors, and Annmarie could use some extra help from the community. Volunteers are needed to help staff the garden during the most popular times to visit.
This is a festive and fun holiday volunteer opportunity. The biggest needs are evenings from 5:30 to 9 pm Dec. 26 and Jan. 2, 2016.
The second most-needed times are the evenings from 5:30 to 9 pm Dec. 31, 2015, and Jan. 1, 2016. It’s not necessary to work an entire shift, if you don’t have the time. Volunteers can still come for a two-hour shift and make a huge impact on Annmarie Garden’s staffing. Any of those same dates are relevant for partial volunteer shifts.

Annmarie Garden has been so pleased with the response to Garden in Lights, including recognition as one of the best places to visit and see beautiful, festive lights during the holiday season. The inexpensive cost and amazing show make for a perfect mix for families who want to be dazzled by unique, original light sculptures.
Check out the new walking paths, musical lights and occasional “snow” at Annmarie Sculpture Garden and Arts Center at the holiday light show, Annmarie Garden In Lights, through Saturday, Jan. 2 from 6 to 9 pm each evening (weather permitting). The show will be closed Dec. 24 and 25.
Visitors can see hundreds of unique handmade light sculptures arranged in spectacular scenes, including a wild animal disco party, a galactic space adventure, a tribute to Maryland, ferocious dinosaurs, a glittering tour under the ocean, a colorful garden, as well as beautiful princesses and evil villains.
