B.S. in Electrical Engineering Completion Program to begin at Southern Maryland Higher Education Center

The A. James Clark School of Engineering at the University of Maryland (UMCP) will offer, starting in Fall 2015, its undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering at the Southern Maryland Higher Education Center.

Students interested in joining the program, must have completed their first two years of major and general education courses. Additionally, students must be admissible to the University of Maryland and the A. James Clark of Engineering.

Information on the transfer admissions process to the UMCP can be found online here.  Admissions requirement to the Clark School of engineering include a cumulative GPA of a 3.0 and completion of specific gateway courses; details about these requirements can be found online here.

The list of required prerequisite courses is mostly offered at CSM in the CSM pre‐engineering track. The program involves both Navy Scholarship and non‐scholarship students. The Navy Scholarship students complete two summers of intern duty along with and in addition to the academic program. Non‐Navy Scholarship  students are not involved in the intern program.
