Transfer Fair Takes You Beyond Associate’s
Start your college career at the College of Southern Maryland; learn about where to finish it at To CSM, and Beyond: Transfer Possibilities Fair this month at all three campuses.
The Leonardtown campus fair is set for 1:30 to 3:30 pm Feb. 23, 2016, at College of Southern Maryland, Leonardtown campus, Building D, 22950 Hollywood Road, Leonardtown. Students can learn about their transfer options and map out their advanced education right at this event.
Last year, more than 1,700 CSM students transferred to 251 different colleges and universities in 45 states and Washington, D.C. CSM offers more than 50 guaranteed articulation agreements, allowing students to start locally and transfer seamlessly to the college of their choice. Starting at CSM saves serious money by avoiding housing costs and higher tuition at other schools. Also, CSM offers small classroom sizes and more individual attention for students, increasing the chances of a successful college experience. Many students start and finish their higher education at CSM by getting an associate’s degree or a certificate, but many others want to go on and earn a bachelor’s degree.
At the fair, students can meet with representatives of multiple colleges in one location, explore degree programs, and meet with CSM advisors, faculty and students.

The fair will be held at the Prince Frederick campus from 10 am to noon Feb. 23. The event will be in Building B, Multipurpose Room, 115 J.W. Williams Road, Prince Frederick.
The event will be held from 1:30 to 3:30 pm Feb. 25 at the La Plata campus, Center for Business and Industry (BI) Building, Room BI-113, 8730 Mitchell Road, La Plata.
