TPP Spotlights Member Benefits
The Patuxent Partnership cuts the ribbon at their new offices in Lexington Park
Access to the TPP Knowledge Base is among the most useful tools among a plethora of membership benefits offered by the only organization in Southern Maryland charged with merging industry, academia and government.
The Knowledge Base of The Patuxent Partnership offers access to the white papers, briefings, and the corporate documents and capabilities of this representative membership. Also archived here are briefings from TPP programs and symposiums. Access to the Knowledge Base is through a members-only section of the TPP website.
TPP members also can upload and update their corporate capabilities and related documents. This accessibility to other TPP members is instrumental to developing teaming agreements among academia, industry, and government.
Member-only events and programs include the TPP Annual Dinner and the Holiday Party, providing face-to-face opportunities for government, industry and academia to meet in a relaxed atmosphere.
TPP regularly partners with academic institutions to promote STEM-related activities and initiatives. Members participate in a multitude of activities in support of STEM-based education. They serve as judges and mentors for Robotics, Science Fairs, AUVSI competitions, and many more community activities.
Publicizing Events and News Articles: Members may promote organizational events through the use of the TPP member Calendar and News section on the TPP webpage, once submissions are reviewed and approved. The information may even be included in the weekly TPP Newsletter and distributed to the entire membership.
Networking: With 200 corporate partners and more than 3,000 registered members and program participants, TPP offers excellent networking and partnering opportunities. Members attending TPP events are provided with name tags that display corporate affiliation information, making the networking process easy. Corporate membership includes corporate identification on all appropriate name tags, but not on the name tags of individual members.
Benefactor Benefits reflect their status in the community and TPP. Benefactor Corporate Logos are prominently displayed on the TPP homepage, with a link to the Benefactor’s webpage. Benefactors are also publicly recognized at all TPP-sponsored programs, including corporate name / logo on promotional or marketing materials such as TPP Annual Report.
Benefactors additionally receive invitations to attend private events not open to the public or general membership. These events range from strategic planning with government and industry leaders to private receptions and dinners with guest speakers and dignitaries.
