There’s Still Time to Apply for Sabre’s STEM Scholarship

Sabre Systems, Inc. will soon be selecting the local winner of ts STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Scholarship Program. The program is designed to support high school seniors planning to further their education in one of the STEM disciplines.
In an effort to help reduce the financial burden associated with pursuing a STEM-related career, Sabre plans to award a total of six $1,000 non-renewable scholarships to deserving students. Scholarship recipients will be selected based upon a thorough review of each applicant’s academic record, personal statement, STEM experience and letters of recommendation. The scholarship winners will be announced in the spring of 2013.
In order for a student to qualify for the scholarship, he/she must be graduating from a high school located in the southern Maryland tri-county area (St. Mary’s, Charles or Calvert).
