Sunday Work on Thomas Johnson Bridge

On Sunday, September 8, State Highway Administration crews will perform routine cleaning of the Thomas Johnson bridge scuppers.

Scuppers are the cutouts at the base of sidewalls that provide drainage from the bridge during rain/snow. Work hours will be 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. and a single lane closure with flagging will be in place.
