St. Mary’s Hospital Seeks Feedback

Medstar St. Mary’s Hospital is asking county residents for input about the communities they live in, their quality of life, and issues that affect their overall health and welfare.  Residents can provide their feedback during a special community input session on Wednesday, Nov. 16, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. in Meeting Room A at the Lexington Park Library.  Individuals must be 18 years of age or older and need to confirm their participation by calling 1-800-218-6468.

The 90-minute session will include a questionnaire and small group discussion about health issues affecting the community.  St. Mary’s would like community leaders and citizens to offer their feedback on key health issues such as access to care, quality of care and health barriers.

St. Mary’s Hospital is hosting the session as part of a community health needs assessment to identify community health needs and direct the hospital’s community benefit activities.  Health statistics and other community data will also be compiled as part of the assessment.

For those unable to attend but wishing to provide input, please call Lori Werrell, director of Health Connections, at 301-475-6019.

Please join St. Mary’s for this important discussion at the Lexington Park Library.  To reserve your space and confirm your attendance, call 1-800-218-6468.
