Sonny Burch is Cedar Lane’s First Service Honoree
F. Elliott (Sonny) Burch received the first Distinguished Service Award this month, presented by Cedar Lane, a senior-living apartment complex in Leonardtown Maryland.
Mr. Burch has served on the Cedar Lane Board of Directors for over 23 years carrying on for his father F. Elliott Burch, Sr. who was instrumental in founding Cedar Lane in 1977 as St. Mary’s Home for the Elderly. The facility opened the doors of its first building through the tireless efforts of local churches, government service groups and members of the community. The second building known as the Burch Building went into service in 1982.
