Run to Benefit the Friends of Ripple

The Friends of Ripple, in coordination with the St. Mary’s Adult Medical Day Care, Inc. and St. Mary’s County Department of Aging & Human Services, will host the 4^th Annual 5K Run/Walk for Fun on Saturday, Oct. 13. Registration will begin at 7 a.m. with the walk taking place at the Harry Lundeberg School of Seamanship at 45353 Saint George’s Avenue in Piney Point, Maryland.

Proceeds will benefit the St. Mary’s Adult Medical Day Care, Inc., a program designed to meet the health care and social needs of adults with physical or cognitive challenges.

The entry fee is $20 for pre-registration and $25 for race day registration. A discount is provided for families who sign up – $35 for a family of 3 or more (2 adults and children under 18). All ages and abilities are welcome! Awards will be given and t-shirts are provided for those who register before Oct. 1.
