R&P Offering Parents’ Night Out Program
Registration for Parents’ Night Out and TR Kids Club Parents’ Night Out is open.
Parents, are you in need of a night out? St. Mary’s County Department of Recreation & Parks has got child care covered for children ages 5 to 12 with Parents’ Night Out at the Hollywood Recreation Center. Attending kids will participate in a variety of activities, games, and themed events, supervised by experienced school age care program staff.
Pizza, juice, and a snack will be provided. Pre-registration is required.
Parents’ Night Out will be offered from 5 to 9pm on:
- October 26, 2024 (Spooky theme)
- December 14, 2024 (Holiday theme)
- February 15, 2025 (History theme)
- April 5, 2025 (Spring theme)
TR Kids Club is also back with Parents’ Night Out, giving parents a break and providing extra social recreation time for kids with disabilities, ages 5 to 13. R&P will provide a variety of art projects, games, therapeutic activities, and pizza. Participants must be able to provide self-care independently and be able to function in a large group (10+) with a 1:4 staffing ratio. Participants are welcome to bring their own food to substitute for food allergies. Pre-registration is required.
TR Kids Club – Parents’ Night Out will be held on:
- November 15, 2024 (Tom Turkey Time)
December 13, 2024 (Holidays Around the World)
Registration will close one week prior to each program, and late registrations will not be accepted. Minimum enrollment must be met for programs to run. Registration may be completed online at www.stmaryscountymd.gov/recreate or at the R&P office in Leonardtown.
