Route 5 Narrowing at St. Mary’s College in Spring

Chip Jackson, Associate Vice-President of Planning and Facilities for St. Mary’s County of Maryland offers an overview of the changes the Maryland Department of Transportation will be making to Route 5 as it cuts through the campus.

Long sought by college officials, the changes to the state highway will slow traffic and increase pedestrian safety.
