On Saturday, July 12th, Beacon of Hope Recovery & Wellness Community Center of Walden will host an Indoor “Piggy Bank” Yard Sale.

Every item will be on sale for just a penny from 3-6 pm at this one day only event.

The Piggy Bank Yard Sale is open to the public.

“We hope this will help some individuals and families who are struggling be able to acquire some needed items to make daily life easier, as well as find some yard sale treasures,” explains Laura Webb, Director of Recovery Support Services at Walden. “We invite anyone looking for a great bargain to stop by!”

Walden is accepting tax-deductible donations of items in good/excellent condition for the Piggy Bank Yard Sale.  “We are especially asking for donations of bikes and small appliances, clothing for all ages and household goods,” says Ms. Webb. All donations should be arranged by contacting Walden at (301) 997-1300 x 804.

Beacon of Hope is located in Millison Plaza in Lexington Park, Maryland, two doors down from the Well Pet Clinic and beside Underground Tattoo, behind Family Dollar.  Look for the lighthouse beacon logo in our window and on the sign on the building!
