Photo Contest Wants to See Your Moves
From Oct. 1 until Nov. 15, Fit & Healthy St. Mary’s invites you to “Show Us Your Moves.” Take a photo of your family, friends or yourself enjoying a hike amongst the sight and sounds of nature, kayaking on the river or participating in a calming Yoga class and you will have a chance to win one of six great prizes, including a one-year membership to World Gym.
Fit & Healthy St. Mary’s wants to celebrate your efforts to stay active and fit. Simply submit an entry form and a photo of you, your family or friends participating in healthy activities. For complete rules and an entry form, visit http://www.medstarstmarys.org/FitandHealthy.
Your photos will be judged by Fit & Healthy St. Mary’s members on their ability to inspire others to incorporate fitness into their lives. Fit & Healthy St. Mary’s was formed as a community coalition to help citizens overcome weight loss barriers so they can move into the healthy weight category. Led by MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital’s Health Connections, Fit & Healthy St. Mary’s members are community partners who are working together to develop comprehensive strategies that promote healthy eating, increased physical activity and health education.
Participants must be 18 years of age or older to enter. Youth entries, which include photos of youth 17 years of age and under, must be submitted by a parent or guardian. An entry form must be submitted for each photo entered. No purchase necessary. Only one winner per household.

Overall Most Inspiring Photo Prize – One-year membership to World Gym
Family Fitness Photo Prize – $25 gift card to Good Earth Natural Foods
Youth Fitness Photo Prizes – Four free passes to Leonard Hall Recreation Center Skate Night
Nature and Fitness Photo Prize – Park entry pass (Summer 2013) to Myrtle Point/Elms Beach
Athletic Fitness Photo Prize – Free fitness assessment and four Personal Training sessions at College of Southern Maryland (CSM)
Individual Fitness Prize – One-month gym membership and fitness assessment from Medically Oriented Gym
