Pax Sets July 23 Nighttime Noise Advisory

Communities surrounding Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Caroline County, and the Northern Neck of Virginia are advised that nighttime noise-generating testing events are scheduled to take place from 8:30 to 10:30pm July 23, 2026.

Pilots at NAS Patuxent River will be conducting nighttime helicopter operations. Night testing and training is essential for the precision and safety of our military aviators and the success of their mission. Residents may notice increased noise levels due to these operations.

As with all operations, NAS Patuxent River takes precautions to lessen the impact of testing activities on the community.
