Pax River Conducting Night Testing Until Next Week

Naval Air Station Patuxent River is advising surrounding communities that noise-generating night-time testing events are scheduled to take place until Tueesday, March 26. Test events are scheduled to conclude by 11 p.m.

Pilots at Pax will be testing and training for realistic night flight scenarios. These events include night precision runway approach and landing and low-visibility operational testing. Residents may notice increased noise levels due to these operations.
