The Patuxent Partnership and The Association of Naval Aviation’s Squadron #18  invite members, the business community, base personnel and the public to “P-8A Poseidon – Soon to Hit the Fleet!” on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at  5 p.m.

Keynote speaker RADM William Moran, Director, Air Warfare (OPNAV N98) will lead the panel to be followed by a reception.

Panelists include  RADM Paul Grosklags, Program Executive Officer, Air ASW, Assault & Special Mission Programs, PEO(A) (invited), RDML(s) Michael Moran, Military Assistant to the Undersecretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (invited), CAPT Scott Dillon, Major Program Manager, Maritime Patrol & Reconnaissance Aircraft (MPRA), PMA 290 and CDR Jason Rider, Commanding Officer, VX-20

The P-8A Poseidon is being designed to replace the P-3C Orion as a long-range anti-submarine warfare (ASW), anti-surface warfare (ASuW), intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) aircraft capable of broad-area, maritime and littoral operations. (Source: http://www.navair.navy.mil)

The panel begins at 5:30 p.m. and concludes at 7:00 p.m., at the Patuxent River Naval Air Museum (PRNAM), 22156 Three Notch Rd., Lexington Park, MD 20653.

Dress code is Business Casual/Military uniform of the day.

 $10.00 per person must be RECEIVED BY 12 Noon, Tuesday, April 30, 2013 by credit card (VI/MC) online, or by cash or check at The Patuxent Partnership, 21789 N. Coral Dr., Suite 2C, Lexington Park, MD 20653. Online advance registrations completed without making payment prior to noon on Tuesday, April 30, will be $15. Registrations received at the door will be $15.
