Royal Norwegian Air Force Maj. Morten “Dolby” Hanche, a US Navy test pilot school graduate, is “impressed by how quickly the F-35 accelerates when I reduce the [angle of attack],” reports Flight Global, noting its contradiction to a previous, anonymous pilot’s report and also noting Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s vow to cancel the Joint Strike Fighter program. The earlier reports that the JSF couldn’t perform as well as existing aircraft prompted the candidate to say he would get rid of the program, SputnikNews reported this past October.
