Megan Mann is a 14-year-old girl from Chaptico who loves stock car racing and loves Camp Greenwell. She made her racing debut last month at Potomac Speedway in the U-Car Division.

Megan attended Camp Greenwell, where children can enjoy organized and unstructured play time, new friends, and outdoor adventures. Camp can boost a child’s self confidence and help grow their sense of independence.

She chose the Greenwell Scholarship Fund as the beneficiary of all proceeds and sponsorships she receives through her racing endeavor.

“We have now ‘teamed up’ with the Greenwell Foundation in support of the Greenwell Scholarship Fund and could not be happier,” said Megan’s mother Lisa Mann.

All of the sponsorship money that the Greenwell Foundation receives goes towards scholarships for individuals with disabilities to attend Camp Greenwell. So far more than $2,200 has been donated, and will be available to any individual seeking to enter the foundation’s summer camp

“Sponsorship of race cars is relatively hard to come by during these economic times; however, the businesses that we have approached to donate to the Greenwell Scholarship Fund are happy to help and are supportive of Megan’s new racing career.”

If you would like to sponsor Megan’s racing and help send a kid to Camp Greenwell, you can donate online or send a check to the Greenwell Foundation. You can make the check payable to the Greenwell Foundation and please be sure to write Megan Mann Motorsports in the memo line. The address is PO Box 198, Hollywood, MD 20636.
