Leading Edge Awards Recognize Business Leaders

Celebrate Corporate Excellence at the Leading Edge Awards from 6 to 9:30 pm Wednesday, June 8, 2016, at the Greater Waldorf Jaycees Community Center. The annual event recognizes the top business leaders from Calvert, Charles, and St. Mary’s counties, sponsored by the College of Southern Maryland.

The 16th annual Leading Edge Awards will bring together government leaders, corporate executives, technology experts, and business owners to celebrates the businesses and people that sustain and stimulate the economy in Southern Maryland.

Business leaders and residents are invited to participate in this celebration of corporate excellence. Tickets to the event are available for purchase on the CSM website.

Table sponsorship is also available, with several options for sponsors.

At $2,500, a Platinum sponsorship includes the announcement of the business at the event, a logo on all promotional materials, a Sponsor Trophy, a table for eight with preferred placement, and an opportunity to exhibit the company at the event.

At $1,500, a Gold sponsorship includes announcement of the business, a name on the program and presentations, a table for eight, and an opportunity to exhibit at the event.

At $1,000, a Silver sponsorship includes a name listed on the program and a table for eight.
Individual seats are $75 each.

The College of Southern Maryland partners with several organizations to present these awards, including the Charles County Technology Council, The Corporate Center at the College of Southern Maryland, the Calvert County Department of Economic Development, the Small Business Development Center, and the College of Southern Maryland Foundation.

Awards at the reception include CEO of the Year, Charles County Technology Company of the Year, Calvert County Business of the Year, Small Business of the Year, Southern Maryland Minority Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year, and College of Southern Maryland Partnership in Education.
