International Programs: Building Coalition Forces

The Patuxent Partnership and The Association of Naval Aviation’s Squadron #18 invite Members, the business community, base personnel and the public to a panel discussion of  “International Programs: Building Coalition Forces.”

The keynote will be given by RADM Tim Heely, USN (ret), former Program Executive Officer for Unmanned Aviation and Strike Weapons.

Panelists will include Mr. Rino Pivirotto, SES, Executive Director, Navy International Programs Office, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Navy (RDA), and Michael Sears, Deputy Program Manager, PMA-299, H-60 International.

Joining Mr. Pivirotto are panelists: Michael Sears, Deputy Program Manager, PMA-299, H-60 International, Anthony “Tony” Manich, Deputy Assistant Commander for Acquisition, AIR-1.0A,  and CDR Greg Smith, Royal Navy, Technical Lead, UK JSF Integrated Test Force.

An opening reception begins at 5 pm Wednesday Dec. 4, 2013. The panel commences at 5:30 and concludes at 7 pm at the Patuxent River Naval Air Museum, 22156 Three Notch Rd., Lexington Park, MD 20653.

 Rino Pivirotto is the Executive Director for the Navy International Programs Office. In this position, he is responsible for developing, planning, and implementing the Department of the Navy’s International Programs, primarily-Security Cooperation, Cooperative Production and R&D, Technology Transfer, and Strategic Planning. He manages a budget in excess of $150 million per year. He has held this position and others in Navy IPO since November 1987.

Online advance registrations, without received payment, will be $15. Registrations received at the door will be $15.

Any proceeds after expenses go to The Association of Naval Aviation’s Squadron #18 and Patuxent River Naval Air Museum Association.
