Holiday Base Gate Hours

The entry gate schedule at NAS Patuxent River will be altered during the holiday season, starting Monday, Dec. 12. The normal gate schedule will resume Jan. 9, 2012. Patience is appreciated.
a. Gate Hours and Manning:
(1) Gate 1 – Gate 1 will maintain normal hours of operation 0530 to 1830 during the duration of the holiday period.
(a) Dec 12th thru 16th – 3 inbound lanes.
(b) Dec 17th and 18th – Normal weekend routine.
(c) Dec 19th thru 22nd – 2 inbound lanes.
(d) Dec 23rd thru 26th – Holiday routine, gate closed.
(e) Dec 27th thru 29th – 2 inbound lanes.
(f) Dec 30th thru Jan 2nd – Holiday routine, gate closed.
(g) Jan 3rd thru Jan 9th – 3 inbound lanes. The weekend of Jan 7th and 8th will be closed as normal.
(2) Gate 2 – Gate 2 will maintain normal hours of operation, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, during the duration of the holiday period.
(a) Dec 12th to 16th – 3 inbound lanes.
(b) Dec 17th and 18th – Normal weekend routine.
(c) Dec 19th thru 22nd – 2 inbound lanes.
(d) Dec 23rd thru 26th – Holiday routine, gate open.
(e) Dec 27th thru 29th – 2 inbound lanes.
(f) Dec 30th thru Jan 2nd – Holiday routine.
(g) Jan 3rd thru Jan 9th – 3 inbound lanes.
(3) Gate 3 – Gate three will only be open during Holiday period for morning and evening traffic (ingress/egress), 0530 to 0830 and 1630 to 1800.
(a) Dec 12th thru Jan 9th – 1 lane inbound from 0530 to 0830.
(b) Dec 12th thru Jan 9th – 1 lane outbound only from 1630 to 1800.
(c) Closed on weekends and approved 4 day weekends (Dec 23-26 & Dec 30-Jan 2).
(4) Webster Field Annex – Webster main gate will be open as normal thru Holiday period.
(a) Webster Back Gate – Closed for duration of Holiday period.
(5) Solomon’s NRC – Solomon’s NRC will remain open as normal thru Holiday period.
