Heat Was On and So Were Lipizzaners

Last weekend, Friday through Sunday, the Original Royal Lipizzaner Stallions of Austria did “strut their stuff” around the equestrian arena at Flat Iron Farm. Attendees noted how unusual it was to have an opportunity in the United States to see the Lipizzaners at an affordable price and in such an accessible venue.
Indeed, the shows brought in large crowds with all proceeds going to Hospice of St Mary’s County. Flat Iron Farm, which hosted the shows, was able to present Hospice with approximately $8,000.
