The Healthy St. Mary’s Partnership recognizes St. Mary’s County Recreation & Parks for their offerings of a wide variety of programs to get you up and moving!

There’s something for everyone. Programs are in place for ages 16 months and up. There are a variety of locations in St. Mary’s County and a variety of times.   • MOG Kidz (Ages 6-12) A structured program designed to teach your children to love being physically active and choose more healthy foods!
  • Jumpbunch & Jumpbunch Tots (Ages 16m- 5 yrs) Age appropriate activities that help motor skills, balance, coordination, muscles and working together.
  • Kids Yoga with Crafts (Ages 4-9) Yoga poses, games, stories, breathing exercises and self calming techniques in a supportive and non competitive atmosphere paired with imaginative thinking to make an arts and crafts project.
  • Shameka’s Fitness Jam (Ages 5-12) Kids will love her “Fun Style” as she invites them to dance with her on the stage. No dance experience is necessary.
  • Pre-Teen Yoga (Ages 9-13) Creates a nurturing compliment to a preteen’s busy life style providing relaxation and conditioning in a non-competitive environment.
  • Circuit/Interval Training (Ages 12 & Up) This program is a high-intensity, aerobic body-conditioning class. It targets strength building as well as muscular endurance.
  • 24 Fit Challenge (Ages 14 & Up) (Under age 16 permitted with registered parent; online registration is not allowed for the younger children.)  FREE Fitness coaching and nutrition information for all levels!
  • Barre Body (Ages 16 & Up) Barre Body® is a ballet-inspired class set to a mix of upbeat music to promote the development of long, lean muscles like those associated with a dancer’s body.
  • Absolute Abs (Ages 18 & Up) This ab program is perfect for beginners and workout gurus who are looking to improve their core.
  • Drop In Volleyball (Ages 18 & Up) Drop in Volleyball is a non competitive program. Registration is held at site, you are expected to pay $4.00 per night pay to instructor.
  • Drop In Zumba Dance (Ages 18 & Up) Are you ready to party yourself into shape? Forget the workout, just lose yourself in the music and find yourself in shape at the original dance-fitness party.
  • Drop In Zumba Toning (Ages 18 & Up) When it comes to body sculpting, Zumba Toning raises the bar (or rather, the toning stick). Zumba Toning is the perfect way to sculpt your body naturally while having a total blast.
