Future Health Care Providers Receive Hospital Scholarships

As the region’s population swells and baby boomers edge near retirement, the need for quality healthcare services has also increased. Understanding the future need, the St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation began awarding scholarships to area students pursuing a degree in health care in 2001.

Raising the income through various fundraising efforts such as the annual Gala, the Foundation has awarded more than 100 scholarships that cover payment for tuition, books and fees associated with degree or certification. The Foundation is pleased to announce the talented group of individuals who were awarded a 2012 scholarship.
