Dr. Deacon Ritterbush
Dr. Deacon Ritterbush, a leading expert on the beachcomb experience, will present a Gallery Talk during its special Sea Glass Maker’s Market event. Her talk will include successful beachcomb strategies, sea glass genres, and site identification techniques.
Popularly known as ‘Dr. Beachcomb, Dr. Ritterbush authored the award-winning, A Beachcomber’s Odyssey: Treasures from a Collected Past. She is also the founder and coordinator of the annual International Beachcombing Conference (IBC), a one-of-a-kind event that takes place this year in Pacific Beach, WA, October 7-11.
After her lecture, she will sign books and identify sea glass shards and other beach treasures people bring in to show her.
