F-35C Pushin’ Into Overdrive

The Navy released this video today of the F-35C Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter performing high-speed passes over Naval Air Station Patuxent River. The F-35C is the Navy’s variant of the stealthy fighter, which is equipped to launch and land on aircraft carriers. The aircraft is currently undergoing testing at Pax River, along with the Marines’ F-35B, which can perform short takeoffs and vertical landings.
