Expect Loud Flight Patterns from Pax Friday Morning

NAVAL AIR STATION PATUXENT RIVER, Md. – Communities surrounding the naval air station, specifically the Cedar Cove Housing area, are advised that noise-generating training events are scheduled to take place between 8-10 a.m. Friday, June 14, 2013.
Pilots will be training for realistic flight scenarios including Field Carrier Landing Practices (FCLPs) in low altitude patterns. Low altitude patterns simulate carrier operations essential for the precision and safety of our service members and the success of their mission. Residents may notice increased noise levels due to these operations.
