The Southern Maryland Higher Education Center is pleased to announce that Ms. Marybeth Ernzen is the new Webster University Coordinator at the Center.  Ms. Ernzen will  oversee all aspects of Webster University’s three principal Master’s Degree programs approved for presentation at SMHEC – an M.A. in Procurement and Acquisition Management, an M.A. in Human Resource Management, and a Masters in Business Administration.

Webster University is a not-for-profit university based in St. Louis, Missouri with academic programs offered at over 100 sites in 22 states and six overseas campuses in Vienna, Shanghai, Leiden, Geneva, London, and Cha-am, Thailand.  It is nearly 100 years old and has four campuses in the Greater Washington, D.C. region offering 10 different Masters Degrees.

Ms. Ernzen has seven years of experience in higher education, spanning from proprietary technical schools to community colleges and large universities.  Webster University is the only school to have a fulltime presence at the Southern Maryland Higher Education Center.

Ms. Ernzen earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Counseling, both from Old Dominion University.

At Webster University SMHEC site, Marybeth hopes to encourage the students in degree programs at the SMHEC campus to succeed, and to grow Webster University’s new degree programs as they are added at SMHEC.  Ms. Ernzen’s contact telephone is 301-737-2500 x 216.
