Dawn on the Way to the Governor’s Cup
Greeting the dawn at the mouth of the St. Mary’s River, leading racers enter the St. Mary’s River, the final leg of the 39th Governor’s Cup. Racers left Annapolis August 3, 2012 and sailed overnight heading down the Chesapeake Bay toward St. Mary’s College of Maryland where a day of celebration begins at 8 a.m. August 4.
