Details aren’t yet out of last week’s closed session, but a cybersecurity information-sharing bill has emerged from the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence on a 14-1 vote, reports FCW. Committee statements suggest incentives will gain private firms’ cooperation with the government.

Deep in its FY16 budget request, the State Department seeks $10 million to rebuild its computer system which has been hacked, reports NextGov.  State’s budget request also seeks $17.3 million on “architecture services” for “known security vulnerabilities” reported in a low security grade received in a government review last year.
