CSM Presents Kathryn Myers Thru Dec. 20

Now running through Dec. 20 at College of Southern Maryland’s Tony Hungerford Memorial Art Gallery, CSM presents Kathryn Myers, Transient Epiphanies.

The gallery, open 9 am to 9 pm, Monday through Friday, and 10 am to 6 pm, Saturday, is located in the Fine Arts Building at the CSM La Plata Campus, 8730 Mitchell Road, La Plata.

Painter Kathryn Myers focuses on the art, culture and religious traditions of India in her work. She has recently integrated video in her work to explore and convey audio and visual responses to India, particularly the architecture and activities found in sacred spaces. She says on her Facebook Page, “The details are my favorite part to paint, I could keep adding detail forever, its hard to stop.”

Admission to the exhibit is free.
