CrossFit Pax approaches fitness with a unique methodology, striving to use your body the way it is designed to be used, and to achieve an all-around healthy lifestyle.

This isn’t another Globo gym-style fitness club and it’s not about being in great shape before you join.

The facility is housed in a former warehouse off the northbound lane of Route 235 in Lexington Park, MD. Tom Watts, an owner of the building, converted the space for J.D. and Jade Dunivant. The Dunivants re-imagined the cavernous space as the future home of CrossFitPax, a unique space, close to Naval Air Station Patuxent River.

The transformation is extraordinary and welcoming. Many people have reservations about joining a CrossFit gym, ranging from cost to being intimidated by preconceived ideas that you must already be in great shape to begin taking classes. Here Jade Dunivant explains more about the CrossFit program.

The Bunker can be reached at (240) 317-5303 and is located at 22378 Three Notch Rd, Lexington Park, MD 20653, with parking down the hill behind the building.
