County Govt. Presidents Day Operations
All St. Mary’s County government administrative offices will be closed Monday, February 17, 2025, in observance of the Presidents Day holiday. Offices will resume normal operating schedules February 18.
The February 17 closure also includes:
- St. Mary’s County Libraries (Charlotte Hall, Leonardtown, and Lexington Park).
- Senior Activity Centers (Garvey, Loffler, and Northern), and there will be no home-delivered meals.
- St. Mary’s Transit System (STS), including ADA and SSTAP.
- St. Mary’s Animal Adoption & Resource Center.
The following SMCG operations will be open February 17:
- Convenience centers and the St. Andrew’s Landfill.
- St. Clement’s Island Museum, Piney Point Lighthouse Museum, and the Old Jail Museum.
- Wicomico Shores Golf Course and the Riverview Restaurant.
- Department of Recreation & Parks programs and facilities*.
*Please note that Recreation and Parks programs held at public school locations will not operate on Presidents Day.
SMCHD Operations for Presidents Day
The St. Mary’s County Health Department will be closed February 17. This includes the main office in Leonardtown and all satellite offices. Normal operations will resume on Tuesday.
