Concert Jam Nurtures Love of Real Music

concert jam

Come see an acoustic concert jam featuring four bands and a variety of music genres from 1 to 9 pm Saturday, May 14, 2016, at Annmarie Sculpture Garden and Art Center.

The Bootleggers, Pat Willis & Friends, The Smoke Creek Rounders, and Eric Landes will be playing blues, rock, country, folk, and bluegrass. The featured bands also will collaborate with other musicians on stage and invite guests to try new things along with them.

Don’t even try to find autotune at this event, which is all about real and natural musical talent and working together. Let these bands nurture local music connections and promote a love and appreciation of handmade music.

If the concert is right in the middle of your dinner time, don’t fret. A lasagna dinner will be available for an additional cost.

After the concert jam, stick around for a contra dance which will be led by caller Elgin Perry and the Southern Maryland Open Hand.

What’s in store for the day:

1 to 4:30 pm Song Circles & Jamming

4:30 to 5 pm Lasagna Dinner

5 to 7 pm Evening Concert Jam – The Bootleggers, Pat Willis and Friends, The Smoke Creek Rounders, and Eric Landes Band

7 to 9 pm Contra Dance with Sargon Dejesus and the Southern Maryland Open Band
