Commissioners, Pax CO to Meet June 9
The St. Mary’s County commissioners and the commanding officer of Naval Air Station Pax River will hold a joint meeting at 9am Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at the Patuxent River Naval Air Museum.
The museum is located just outside the base at 22156 Three Notch Road in Lexington Park.
The meeting will feature discussion on the following topics:
- NAS Pax River Airshow
- Intergovernmental Support Agreement (IGSA) Funding Extension
- Comprehensive Plan Update – St. Mary’s 2050: Charting Our Tomorrow
- Defense Community Infrastructure Program (DCIP)
- Encroachment & Air Installations Compatible Use Zone (AICUZ)
- St. Mary’s County YMCA
The meeting is open to the public and will be recorded. The recording will air on St. Mary’s County government TV Channel 95 as part of the regular commissioner meeting replay and will be available for on-demand viewing on the county’s YouTube Channel post-production.
