Comfort Inn Changes the Park’s Skyline and Hotel Offerings

Comfort Inn & Suites Hotel cut the ribbon Friday at its Grand Opening Celebration across the street from Naval Air Station Patuxent River in Lexington Park, Maryland.

The Patel Family, owners of the new hotel; members of the Warahi Hospitality Inc. management team; and General Manager Sharon McLeod-Hare were on hand to recieve a Lexington Park flag from Robin Finnacom, CEO of the Community Development Corporation.

Ms. Finnacom has praised the hotel throughout its construction for changing the skyline of Lexington Park. The Jobs Connection program from her office helped screen and interview for the new staff serving at the upscale hotel.

“Our décor , features and amenities set us apart from the typical economy hotel,” said Ms. McLeod-Hare, describing the CHOICE hotel which has 55 beautifully appointed rooms, a mixture of suite styles, both kings and queen bedded rooms all including microwaves, refrigerators, coffee and safe.

Hardwired & wireless high speed internet are complimentary and available in every room. Deluxe hot/cold breakfast is served in the dining area. A fitness center on-site is amplified by the availability of membership to nearby  Maximum Health & Fitness. Local and long distance phone calls are complimentary as well as valet service for dry cleaning. There is an on-site laundry facility.

Government, corporate and leisure rates are available.

St. Mary’s County Commission President Jack Russell and St. Mary’s County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Bill Scarfia attended the ribbon cutting as well as members of Old Line Bank and Millison Management.

The event was catered by The Laughing Pickle and an array of prizes were given including a  51-inch plasma, HD TV, Kindle Fire, IPOD, Office Back Massager, and hotel stays at select CHOICE properties.
