Celebrating Women

Patricia McGuire

“Women’s Education – Women’s Empowerment” is the theme of this year’s St. Mary’s County Commission for Women annual dinner banquet, set for Thursday, March 22, 2012, at 6 p.m.,  at the Dr. James Forrest Career and Technology Center in Leonardtown.

Last fall, she was named one of Washingtonian magazine’s “100 Most Powerful Women” for guiding Trinity from a small, Catholic women’s college into an innovative higher-education system for students of all ages and backgrounds, especially women from high-poverty populations.
