Bluegrass for Hospice – Oct. 25
Bluegrass for Hospice will take place Saturday, October 25 from noon to 8:00 pm at Flat Iron Farm in Great Mills.
Flat Iron Farm is on Flat Iron Road, south 1.5 miles from MD Route 5.
The event will feature The Seldom Scene, one of the most acclaimed bluegrass bands of all time. Gates open at 11 am with all proceeds going to the Hospice House of St. Mary’s County.
Vendors, a 50/50 raffle, $500 money raffle, door prizes and a silent auction will be available. Food will be available for sale through the 3rd District Optimist Kruzin’ Kafe and alcohol is BYOB. The event will be held inside a closed and covered arena which is handicap accessible. Portable bathroom facilities are located outside. Non-perishable food items will also be collected for the Helping Hands Food Pantry in Hollywood.
Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. To purchase advance tickets send a check or money order payable to “Hospice of St. Mary’s” along with a self-addressed stamped envelope to P.O. Box 741, California, MD 20619.
