Big Winners at Halloween in the Garden

Phillips Lawn Care Services was one of the winners of a “Golden Pumpkin Award” at the Halloween in the Garden event Oct. 29. The other winners were Residential Plus Real Estate Services and Bahr Insurance, pictured below.

Every October, Annmarie Sculpture Garden and Art Center in Solomons brings the region’s children and families together at Halloween in the Garden. This year, more than 80 community businesses and organizations helped make the event a safe and fun afternoon of trick-or-treating for more than 4,500 guests Saturday, Oct. 29, 2016. amg_residentialplus

Annmarie Garden was filled with costumed visitors of all ages, with outfits that ranged from spooky to whimsical. The participating businesses and organizations had booths at the garden, which they decorated creatively and enthusiastically, to the delight of guests as they walked the garden path.

Each year a small number of booths are awarded with “Golden Pumpkin Awards,” celebrating the groups that go above and beyond in decorating their booth and interacting with visitors. The winners this year were Residential Plus Real Estate Services, Phillips Lawn Care Services, and Bahr Insurance.
