The College of Southern Maryland is offering Interactive Training for IT Professionals to prepare for the Certified Ethical Hacker Exam,  Jan. 26-30,2015 at the CSM Campus in Leonardtown, MD.

This is a five-day, hands-on, boot camp to prepare IT professionals to take the EC-Council Certified Exam.

The training is offered through The Corporate Center at CSM and facilitated by an EC Council Certified Instructor.

Students may sign up for the Certified Ethical Hacker exam at the time of the class, Jan 26-30, and take the CEH exam on the last afternoon of training. The College of Southern Maryland is an authorized Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) testing site, and this boot camp Jan. 26-30 on the Leonardtown Campus to prepare students to pass that exam.

The class is an interactive environment where participants will learn how to scan, test, hack and secure their own systems, with no real network harmed. The lab-intensive environment provides in-depth knowledge and experience with the current essential security systems. Students will begin by understanding how perimeter defenses work and learn how intruders escalate privileges and what steps can be taken to secure a system.

Also covered are: Intrusion Detection, Policy Creation, Social Engineering, DDoS Attacks, Buffer Overflows and Virtual Creation.
