Base Warns of Noise from Weekend Testing

Naval Air Station Patuxent River is advising surrounding communities that noise-generating testing is scheduled to take place Saturday, Sept. 8.

According to Pax River officials, low-level jet aircraft flight operations are required in order to conduct calibration testing with ground based equipment. Testing is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Residents may notice increased noise levels during this time.
