AMG Gets Creative Teaching Children Science

Young children and their caregivers are invited to Annmarie Sculpture Garden and Art Center for an educational and fun science program about magnets from 1 to 4 pm Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016.

This Full STEAM Ahead program, “Mad About Magnets,” teaches children about these fun pieces of metal. They can make a magnetic masterpiece, fish in the Polarity Pond, and go on a scavenger hunt to see what their magnets might attract and repel.

The visiting group Paxspace will be offering even more magnetic experiments. Children will have the chance to get excited about learning and being creative with this engaging program. The program is free, and reservations are not required.

The program is made possible by a grant from the PNC Grow Up Great foundation and PNC BankPNC Grow Up Great

Groups of children and Mom’s clubs are welcome. If you have a large group, please email ahead  so the group can be accommodated.
